It reminds me of the Y 2k bug when everyone thought the world would end because of a date on a computer. It was an odd thing in reality because 3/5 of the world population don't even use the same calender. Also the hole in the ozone layer that was going to have us all fried in 10 years, admittedly the stopped using cfc on a global scale to help fix that one which seems to have worked. I think its very hard to say the climate has changed in the short term but it does seem that the evidence is something is up. Maybe a natural phenomenon helped along by the humans, who knows, what I do know is, like the previously mentioned, will be someone trying to make bucket loads of money out of it. To me that's more of a concern, you will never get reliable information from vested interests, be they scientists or not. DB
