Can't see why our Gov doesn't offer interest free loans on subsidised solar collectors on top of every residential & business roof in Australia & feed that energy into the grid .... a huge array production system. A very large % of homes are empty for the sunlight hours & would be pumping all their collection into the grid at a time when industry is at its peak demand. I'd like to see an expert do the figures on what the difference in cost would be between a solar array strategy & building X number of new power stations. As for cars, an electic car with solar collector 'moon' roof could be charging all day while the owner is working.
