I have around 20 years of work left, this is why I invest.
At present my share portfolio is a little red, well a lot really
I have a tested investment policy which includes giggling at some of the posts here and buying a broad range of stocks and property.
I know my limit and will not go above that limit as I need a fall back position.
True the markets worldwide are down but time is a great healer and if you are not overcommited and have researched the stocks you own then, one day, when this is all over, which it will be some day, you can sell. Till then my wallet is closed for business and I will have to work and make a living there.
But If a bargain comes along I will do a quick shuffle and buy, I wont extend myself.Well thats what started all this, overcommitment to credit.
