I am a very very lapsed Catholic (I don't believe in any religion) but I don't remember in MY time on this earth that RC's, as a group (as opposed to single individuals and in the dim dark past),continually:
- beheading non-believers, even in countries where Islam is not the dominant religion eg Theo Van Gogh;
- rampaging through the streets when anyone even remotely makes a criticism of this religion or its founder;
- demanding that women cover their body completely in a sack(in some countries) and/or cover their hair;
- allow, and in some cases encouraging, much older men to have sex with girls who have barely emerged from puberty;
- demand that girls' clitoris be cut at a very young age.
How can any sane person believe in such a backward religion, or any religion for that matter, but especially Islam which encourages these medieval practices.
