I'm finding following HSN to be a truly fascinating experience.
The bottom line ha is that this is a stock that just reported a 46% decline in profit, and its shares have gone up 4%, ex div.
One theory is that it is part of the dividend mania that is taking hold of the market participants at the moment. Could the profligacy of SMSF's have something to do with this?
Or is it simply that the faith in management is extremely strong?
As someone who has sold their shares, I feel like perhaps I have 'lost faith,' which for me are very emotionally laden words.
I realise that management owns a large proportion of the company, but that alone doesn't explain it.... There seems to be an insatiable appetite for this stock if it nears anywhere near 80c.
