What his disciples saw was a vision of his heavenly glory.
(Matthew 17:9) As they were descending from the mountain, Jesus commanded them: “Tell the vision to no one until the Son of man is raised up from the dead.”

That is not strictly true according to you as what his (Jesus's) disciples saw was a vision of his heavenly glory.
Surely, a God-inspired vision is as good as seeing the real thing.

And surely you have not added any light to what heavenly and earthly bodies are, but rather added more confusion.
