both. I’ve read every book I can find about Mongolia. I have hosted Mongolians and I have a friend whose son married a Mongolian. The landscape is incredible. But the skills of the khan were astonishing for sure.
I had dreamed of the Silk Road from childhood as well and finally got there. I loved it.
