It's like consulting with the property sector regarding housing, or facebook regarding the media
Just show balls, leadership and BAN short term rental in residential zoned areas, even some 'holiday' areas should do the same .. do it.. let's get it done
forget about 90 days or any kind of compromise just bring the full force of legislation and the law down upon this insidious industry once and for all
residential zoning holiday zoning.. owner occupier, LT tenant .. that's it, end of story, non negotiable.. have a house in residential area with ABN .. sorry ATO no longer accepts deductions against income.. have a house in residential zone negative geared with income showing short term rental.. sorry ATO no longer accepts deductions against income.. job done problem solved once and for all
tourists can stay in motels, hotels, caravan parks, the back of their cars,, but not residential housing in your street
