The EWC recovery

Wow, what a huge turn of events - seems GE finally put shareholders first which was something SE promised but couldn't bring himself to do. Perhaps there was little choice as some have speculated but let's not dwell on the past- thx GE for seeing the light.

As mentioned in my posts around the AGM last year I speculated that it was likely time to start accumulating shares and stop focusing on the past. This view was thanks to the new Independent Directors who began a restructuring, changing of management/board roles and finally debt write offs. Hats off to our independent directors for their serious hard work over the last year.

I'm not sure why anyone would now be negative on a stock with an NTA over 30c , no debt , stock incentivized new CEO who appears to have the goods , new Chairman and the excellent track record of our Independents.

The next 2 months will be of interest- can they bring onboard a serious local O&G player and set us up in a LT partnership or full sale. All the cards are on the table - serious money could be created in coming months in The Philippines. IDY and Aus another story but even a sale of IDY from $50-$100m (written down to zero) would be good.

I appreciate it's been a serious struggle for us shareholders that have been onboard for a significant period of time but finally we have the team in place and a chance to recover/make money. It's been worthwhile adding at lower levels to average down.

Let's look forward and not dwell on the past, the stock looks seriously undervalued based on the recent announcement.
