The chinese metal website I look at (namely www.ferroalloynet.com) is where I get the Manganese info from - The stuff you have quoted looks like it comes from there too.

Not sure what you mean by me "knowing much more than these people". I was actually quoting directly from them!

Anyway the facts (as I see it) are:

1. The current price for Australian Manganese lump 44% is around $5.50 USD
2. OMH has set its price for the 2nd quarter at around that $5.50 USD mark
3. Their costs are around $3.50 to $4.00 AUD meaning that at an exchange rate of $0.63 USD/AUD they make good money
4. Yes their initial grade is low (see the current presentation) at around 22%-24% but they beneficiate it up to the 44% to be able to sell at the higher prices.
