I remember the first guy I ever worked for and he certainly had a rough personality, he would throw tantrums and things would fly all over the place in the heat of the moment, but he got the job done and was very successful. My last employer stood on many a toe and yet very successful, he's very focused and if you follow his direction he rewards well, cross him and youre in strife lols. Just because one does not like a personality it does not mean they are poor in management, snow flakes will feel bruised as you say.
