Kerry Stokes was an orphan, didn't go to school past 15. Definitely didn't go to university.
Uni degrees mean nothing in entrepreneurialism. If anything, they are a constraint, as they a) provide path to secure income in stable employment (discouraging risk) and b) are overly focused on risk and governance, and theory, rather than practical business skills.
I back Simon in totally - as many have noted, he is setting this company up for the long term, rather than focusing on quarterly or half-yearly sugar hits. It is actually what more ASX companies should do. The SP performance will follow.
