Yes we (mostly) all agreed it was bad journalism, tied in with increased shorting activity. No doubt there is a link between the two but no evidence.
We also all agreed to start posting on the more positive threads again. The Q3 forecast and fundamentals etc. The AFR article doesn't need any more limelight. It definetly didn't need another a new thread again.
Sydshare, not sure what you mean by "it's not over yet but I can't say" comment. If you can't say, then I feel you shouldn't say anything, rather than that comment. If you are in some way more informed than us then either share those facts, or don't mention it at all.
