There have been several posters on chat forums recently getting stuck into CCI and the management, accusing CCI of doing inside deals and ripping off the shareholders. I believe these comments are unwarranted and unfair because there is no proof that such alleged activities have taken place.

The business of exploration & mining is not an easy straight forward one and the market is not perfect despite what the theorists will try and say. Why is it that when people lose money in the market because
the market has moved or there has been some problems with a project, conspiracy theories abound? Why look for a scapegoat if there isn't one?

Today I inspected the top 50 shareholders list as of 10 July 2006 and can say that the European shareholders have not sold a share which is a vote of confidence imo.

Also, none of the new holders that I can see have any connections with Blackthorn and there are no nominee companies taking up new/bigger positions. There are lots of new individuals and private companies making up the top 50. The top 50 now hold 48% of the issued capital.

Im sure BT has thought this through very carefully and believes its the best outcome for the company and its shareholders.
