@RVR, I posted a lengthy response yesterday which I requested to be removed. I will say this: I don't think democratic governments are asleep behind the wheel to the extent they are unable to identify or act on such existential threats. There are, quite rightly, far greater minds and greater numbers of those minds and bodies dedicated to such concerns than we souls here on this forum.
