Historically Market cap is about 1 X of Revenue. 10X profits. Some very fast-growing companies with low capital requirements, like software companies will reach 2 maybe 3 X. so Lynas at over 10X and very capital intensive is not normal. Also how do you define fast growing.
    2018 revenue, AUD 374, Profits 53M
    2019 R 363, Prof 83M operational profit 37M
    2020 R 305, Prof -19M
    2021 R 490, Prof 157M

I do not define a 4 year growth in Revenue of 131% and prof of 296% as outstanding growth. Prof is OK but revenue not so good.

I know there has been lots of problems but there has been at least one big problem every year for 12 years. I know the future looks much better. But every year it is, "wait tell next year". hopefully 2021 and 2022 will be two back to back years with dramatic real growth in revenue and profits, 150%. I want to see it first. with NdPr prices it is looking good.
Q1 Revenue was 121M down from 185M Q4 not a great start to making 2022 a great growth year. Q1 2022 was much better than Q1 2021, 85M so still a good chance 2022 could be better than 2021. We will know better next week what the chances are for 700M revenue are in 2022. I know many on this board are saying 1 B but I just do not see it. Most use 7,2KT of NdPr.
that is 1.8KT a Q. They have never done 1.6KT in a Q ! they had 6 Qs between when NEXT was finished and Covid. Again, I want to see a couple of Qs with 1800KT NdPr production before I use that number.

Right now there are many market caps that are over 5 X revenue in markets all over the world. In the last 6 months the number of articles saying 2022 will be a year with a major correction in which case the higher the metrics the more the price will fall.

Let me be clear I think Lynas is a Great company, with a bright future. I want to buy it. With 900M shares and a price of AUD 11.00 all traditional metrics are way out of proportion, by at least 3 X maybe 4X. If Amazon can fall from USD 108 to $7.00 and then over 22 years surge to $3,200 because of great fundamentals, then so can Lynas. I just don't want to take part in the drop like Lynas had in 2012 - 2018. Amazon in 2020 -2009. I would much rather miss a few big gainers than take part in a few big losers.
