Many on this board what to totally discount what TT said just because he called price badly. He was both right and wrong. like myself and many others, he was correct in some thing he said. wrong about others. This is always true of any one who takes risk.
He was correct in stating the stock is over valued The 12 month EPS is 18 cents with a SP of 11 that is a return on share price of 1.6%. that is just not sustainable. For H1 the 12 month trailing earnings will be 0.20 ~0.25 at 11 even 0.25 is only 2.27 % and stocks have to do better than that in today's rising interest rates. Yes he missed that Lynas SP has been propel by excessive optimism in the whole green market. It takes an event then time for this optimism to change to pessimistic view in all markets. He bought Puts with little time on them which causes a 100% loss if you are wrong. They did give him a chance at better than 10X gain. A straddle would have cut his loses substantially but only a returned 150% if he was correct. Not a bad choice but not one I would have made. To discount everything somebody says just because they are wrong on some parts is just not a good idea,
