For all the potential investors in MEO, I would like to point out one important paragraph that was released by management to the market in late November
"While MEO remains confident that the transaction will be finalised, the company cannot guarantee this outcome. MEO thanks shareholders for their understanding."
The likelyhood of the deal going through with the new player is very high, and if so the share price will skyrocket. However if the new player pulls out the share price will fall like a rock
The point is if you are a speculator and can risk the money hop on.
There is no doubt in my mind that there are many other players in the market that will jump at the opportunity (the likes of WPL or Chevron,,,,,,) if the farminee pulls the pin
Once the fat lady has sung its all over and your money will have doubled or even tripled
Do you take the risk
