okay, so I'm an optimist... I admit it... my cup is half full...
so here's the thing, if the Fed is seeing signs of recovery in the US that warrants them tapering off on bond purchases, then surely that is - at it's core - good news for the world?
sure in the meantime, the obvious play is to sell, take profits, short things and smash the market as hard as you can, but once the thieving dogs on Wall St have gorged themselves on the downside, they will turn the boat around and will be buying for the same reason they are selling today! It really is mental... (gee whiz I love capitalism - don't you?)
what we all need to remember is that despite the worst economic funk in mankind's history, the 7 billion hapless souls on mother earth have kept on burning fossil fuels at a furious pace...
as such, I'm not worried about the Fed taper, I'm more concerned with the tapering in the Proteus well - it must be getting close to the payzone now...
