Thanks for posting this AFR article. I had to read it several times before I achieved passing comprehension. It's the sort of article I hope to find in the papers when I go to town & have a decent morning coffee. I'm still not sure which lease they might lose if they(Shell) didn't accept the offer being made- Crux, I think, not Prelude?? Is that Keating lurking behind the arras- those Labour old boys do allright in later life don't they. Sunrise subplot is intriguing. Martin Ferguson plays an outstanding role as International Man of Mystery . I expect an encore performance to be reprised, when Angela & Louise come to write up the tale of mini-MEO's transformation into multi million $ MEO.
