Mate, no one is even jumping in to finance the Ukraine's budget deficit let alone Russia. Not that they have a deficit.
The US may settle for 'play nice' but what does that mean in regards ye annexation of Crimea? Putin can't go back on that or reverse the result of a referendum that ratified the change. I certainly think the US is aiming at toppling Putin & I am sure are backing certain replacements. Personally I think you are being a bit naïve here.
