it's an OLE extension now and not on official trial anymore. yes it's nice to be informed but buyers into the shares surely must know it's not been touted as a cure and we expect to lose patients.

MT was at pains to mention we would have expected to lose patients during the trial itself. the fact we didn't pointed to MPL being of benefit. it's not a cure and people shouldn't be surprised to see patients in trials and post trial, die.

sad as that is, all 12 will eventually die. the point of MPL is to be able to get it trialed on the 210 patients, get approval to be a treatment and get people diagnosed with the beast onto treatment ASAP. this is their best chance to slow (but not stop) the disease.

I don't like that we lose a patient but I am also a realist. if people think it's a cure all, they are dreaming and it should not be a reason to sell down the stock.

I say it again. it is not a cure but a treatment to slow the progression and buy time.

telling the market we lost a patient on our drug post trial shouldn't be a full disclosure requirement and shareholders looking for a reason to jump ship shouldn't be using this as their reason. it is expected as time marches on.
