I also want to say that the loss of any of the patients in this and other drug trials is extremely sad. Our patients knew they were going to die but volunteered to try their best to potentially benefit future MND patients.
On the 10th April the Company said this in an announcement:
I finally received a response to one of my emails. John stated that the Company were informed of the death 'this month'.
This is from the MND Australia website:
How on earth could the Company release this statement when the Bulbar patient was either already deceased or past having the ability to swallow which is a requirement to be able to continue in the trial?
