That's disappointing. Seems odd to keep this a secret if the ALSFRS was holding steady or even improving. Must say it's a bit of a backflip from what MT said, and also a little disappointing in absence of any context (hard not to assume a negative context).

Definitely one that should be addressed tomorrow.

I truly hope the new leadership acknowledge the deficiencies in old PAA comms style, and look more to the model set by MT. Understand they are likely to busy to indulge too much at this point, but this type of reply in not particularly helpful and raises more questions than anything.
