It is an interesting time. If we do not move into some form of partnership or a commercial deal in the near future (i.e. before, at the point of, shortly after ODD designation) it could be and possibly will be interpreted that no one of any importance in the field considers MPL a credible potential therapy, or that the phase 1 data while promising, is still much too risky (i.e. betting on it failing in a phase 2).

With the number of deals being done in the orphan drug space, with big pharma openly talking about spending their cash on acquiring new therapies at all stages of development, it would be a very concerning sign if we don't actually get any formal interest.

I know MT alludes to $USD 2.5 billion, but I can't imagine that until post a very successful phase 2. I'd be thinking more around maybe $USD1-1.5 billion but again only loosely based on analogues.

A professional valuation would need to be made.

But I am hoping many here are right and that ODD is the signal some interested party is waiting on.
