Why not just make the offer now, with a milestone being granting of ODD?
Waiting risks others doing the above and beating you to the punch.
Im guessing we have a long way to go to prove to BP that MPL is effacacious, and that is probably compounded by the passing of one the trial participants. This is clearly what the market thinks.
