I don't think it is a "ramp". It is purely because people know how to do technical charting. For example:
Patterns from the day trader forum said 11cents is the initial daily target, and 38cents is the weekly target.
1) Multi year break out,
2) Golden Cross
3) 8ema crossed above the 50sma.
4) Cup and handle prediction success.
