Really appreciate this post Megagene79 - it is a very plausible explanation and the timing fits in all sorts of ways (current world market malaise would explain some otherwise "happy to wait" clients stepping up the pressure).
BTW I tried to look at the old announcements about this on the company web site but got a database error the first few times. I'm pretty sure this is a server-side error and I think also someone else mentioned temporary issues a few days back - could mean some web site maintenance which is probably a good sign at this point as that mostly means structural changes rather than just some text changes. I let the company know in case they were unaware.
