The Ocean Onyx rig is parked up in VIC which is owned by Diamond offshore (Worldwide drilling contractor).
I don't know of any other available rig in Australia right now and they are actively looking for crew members in VIC only.
At the same time Diamond offshore are also looking for a Drilling Superintendent based in Adelaide which would traditionally sit at the clients office and report activities to the owner/operator.
I'm guessing that rig is being activated, but where I have no idea. Not many, But a couple of O&G companies call Adelaide home.
