There seems to be a dense atmosphere on this thread that is dominated by fear of refusal by NOPTA of the extension to the permit to explore, caused by a number of factors being mainly caused by the delay in the NOPTA approval and the recent Political chest beating by political lightweights of the left leaning “ progressives” being Jason Falinski and the independent socialist climate alarmist , Zali Steggal with little sway and influence in the NOPTA decision making process .

These two members of the Lower House of Federal Parliament
have major influence in their electorate being the Northern beaches of Sydney which would somewhat be visually impacted by the site of a gas rig 27km - 50km away in the distance off shore and would hardly be even noticed at sea level and without binoculars . The hypocrite independent Steggal bangs on about anything that is climate change to induce fear in people and has no influence in the parliament numbers , so write her off as a loud attention seeking nuisance . Whereas Jason Falinski , member for the Northern Beaches which takes in the snooty upmarket areas of Palm Beach has more to lose and his constituents also may find the sight of a distant gas rig somewhat unnerving when sipping their vintage French champagne on a balmy summers sunset .MP Falinski will of course be beating his political opportunistic chest pretending to lead the lefty liberal “Group” faction leader whom which their actual leader is physically imposing and narcissistic senator Maurice Payne who you know is our foreign minister.

So can he adversely effect the decision making process by NOPTA? Short answer is NO.

He has NO influence on John Barilaro, who is NSW representative on the Joint Authourity Board . I suspect that John Barilaro , whom after this tumultuous week in NSW state politics over some bunch of cuddly koalas, is looking for revenge and what type of revenge against the Left leaning climate change loving Liberals who hate anything to do with Fossil fuels because it’s not trendy to like coal and is in the inner city ........Why just approve the East Coast largest potential gas field that would just stick it to Rob stokes , Gladys and Matt Kean who hate gas and coal . That will fix them nicely and shove their marsupials up their ar se at the same time.
So this will be John Barilaro’s final two finger salute with a parting smile to the NSW state Left liberals who shafted him over some koalas this week and salute when he contacts his right wing conservative liberal Federal counter part on NOPTA who also hates the lefties in the NSW liberal party. I can just hear him now ringing MP Keith Pitt who is also a good mate of gas and mining loving Northern QLD senator Canavan, “ hey Keith .....do you want to really F uc$ these Lefty traitor Pri ck$ Masquerading as Liberals in NSW ? “

MP Keith responds “ I am listening mate ...how ? “

Barilalo. “ let’s approve this Pep-11 beast that’s right in their playgrounds ...some unknowns called BPH Energy owns it , that will Fu&$ them and teach them a lesson to F..ck with us conservatives and nationals . Let them see the gas flame outside their balconies with their dick Hea mate Cannon Brookes in Palm beach as a permanent reminder not F...ck with us and pretend they are greenies at heart “

Mr Pitt “ why an excellent idea ....let’s sign it off and watch then go into over drive to stop the drilling ...I will contact The pro mining labour guy Joel Fitzgibbon to get the super strong Hunter Valley CMFU Union to be on side As these Pri...Ks will try and block Newcastle port from being a staging point and processing of the gas...the job starved unions will make mince meat out of Gladys and her friends.”

And so the NOPTA deal was signed and both men smiled as revenge was enacted against the Left faction of the Liberals . Let’s if this fantasy story pans out over the next two weeks .....

This hint of fear of the refusal has crept in the minds of investors and speculators in the last week hence the rapid sell off that has eventually led to the decent buying opportunities at .037-.04 on Friday . Its rare that you pick the bottom and sell at the top ( maybe once or twice in your trading career or punts you will pull it off ) . So it’s a good time for those who bought at the recent highs of .05-0.055 to buy some more at .0.035-.05 to average down .

Just be Patient ...this is not a 3 min spring carnival horse race that you now quickly that you have either won 5- 1 odds or lost it all . It’s a carefully calculated game at NOPTA that encourages the exploration of gas of our shores for benefit of our nations economy being the worlds largest gas exporter and for the only short term cost effective energy solution to power the energy hungry east coast of Australia who is starved of cheap and reliable gas .

Like the previous poster “Flambeau” stated , for NOPTA to refuse the approval of Pep-11 , this would send a negative signal to international big energy investors that Australia is changing its stance on gas and is not open for gas energy business which would see tens of billions of investment pulled away in future planned gas investments . Have some faith in NOPTA, Breeze and Barilalo, a lot of you here are crumbling because of one or two amateur retail investor putting fear about MP Falinski and the Greens in your head just to make you panic and sell out this week in attempt to see a weak price or to see an personal vendetta against the company fail to see it fail because of their own low self a steem and investing inexperience. Please ignore these types and don’t take on their negative energy as let them internally explode with envy when this NOPTA is finally approved very shortly .
