Thailand is actually the destination for a lot of Biotechs doing trials. Thailand has set itself up to take advantage as it has low salaries and plenty of people willing to be guinea pigs - and they get paid for it.

This is especially the case for HIV research as the disease is a scourge in Thailand - and another reason why such research is supported.

Running trials in Thailand is , therefore, no disadvantage and the quality do different than in the US or other places.

I do, however, think that BIT may have chosen the "corner shop" cut rate CRO version. That is why the results are taking longer than expected. The quality I don't think will be affected though so we can trust the results.

That is, of course, reason to suggest that BIT knows a lot more than they are letting on.
