From quarter ending 31 march 2024 (quarterly report dated 26 April 2024):

5.5 Cash and cash equivalents at end ofquarter Current quarter: $ 1,281,000

1.2 Payments for operating activities:
R & D $ 514,000
staff $ 211,000
admin $ 365,000
total: $ 1,090,000

Assumiptions:
* payments remain constant
* there are no grants or incentives
* can ignore minor amounts such as interest received and cash flows from financing activities (which almost cancel each other out anyway):

By end of current quarter 30 June 2024 there might be something like
$ 1,281,000 - $ 1,090,000 = $ 191,000 in cash and cash equivalents remaining.

Assuming R&D remains the same for the current quarter as for previous quarter introduces a huge unknown. If it has reduced considerably then the amount remaining might be much higher.
eg (Best case) If R& D was zero, $ 191,000 + $ 514,00 = $ 705,000. in cash and cash equivalents

So, for the sake of argument,: anywhere from $ 191,000 to $ 705,000 at end of quarter

In summary: I have no idea how much is actually going to be available at the end of this quarter. The intent of my performing these calculations is purely to promote (provoke?) further discussion. I'd be very interested and grateful to hear what other people have to offer in this regard.

Not sure if you are aware but for your reference, the quarterly spend has only once dropped below $1m since Q1 2020. This includes periods where there was no current trails underway. Even in that one single quarter the spend was still hundreds of thousands above the best base scenario that you have calculated.

All those results must be getting close now.
