Over the last say 18 months I think that holders have largely scaled back their euphoria and have come (largely) to the same conclusion.

Certainly, the rabid overoptimistic rhetoric has gone from most posters.

While there are some great pointers in the results so far - they have not shifted as far as lighting up any real interest from BP. That will be the factor that determines the difference between a good result and an outstanding one.

The pick up of the options in November may well determine the future of BIT - the full exercising of the options could deliver over $6mil and allow BIT to continue research on HIV or even venture into the general anti-viral sector.

At the moment there is a huge divide between where BIT is now and getting the SP up to the 6 cent plus territory it needs to go to.

There is some difficulty is seeing a way forward where trials have not delivered any knock out blow and there are no cash reserves to carry on additional research. One would think that a lot is pinned on some commercial deal (for what I don't know) over the next three months. Holder confidence is at an all time low and there is not a lot of time to renew that.
