At 6:34pm Cape Canaveral received an urgent caution warning from Florida’s main weather station that a category 3 cyclone was heading directly towards the NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre (KSC) and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS).
At 2:13 the cyclone had a direct hit to the CCSFS with category 4 force, this resulted in knocking over the Biotron rocket from its launching pad with such power that the rocket rolled down a slope and fell into a gorge.
The crew was not injured, and information from the Biotron company informs us that the repairs should not take too long and the ship should be ready again for launch in the coming weeks. At the moment the company is working fast & furious to secure funds to hire a crane to lift the craft from the gorge.
All systems are OFF for launch until the coming weeks.
