Some interesting comments from David at the AGM re: Life Sciences and why we weren't gaining traction in the market place:
David said that by offering AnteoBind at a lower price point, a lot more companies are now interested due to the cost savings,
If a test is already 99.99% accurate, then there was no point paying a premium for AnteoBind's sensitivity, but when AnteoBind is offered at a lower price point, the manufacturer can make the test a lot cheaper by using 90% less antibody. Antibody is the most expensive component of a POC test. I expect to see (finally) some meaningful life science deals drop in 2024.
