The final price paid by
institutional investors for shares in Australian gaming company
Tattersall's Holdings Ltd would be between $3.00 and $3.10 a
share, a banking source said on Tuesday.
Tattersall's is due to list on the Australian Stock Exchange
on Thursday.
Retail investors paid $2.90 a share in an offer that closed
five days early last month due to strong demand.
The company had said in June it expected to sell the shares
at $2.40 to $2.90 each.
Only 105 million shares, or 15 percent, of a total 700
million on issue, were offered to the public. The remainder would
go to Tattersall's stakeholders and staff.
Institutions would receive around half the 105 million shares
in the offer, said the source, who declined to be named.
He said the final price was expected to be set after a board
meeting this afternoon.
