brryh, I think that PBT2 is too big for the Fund. It could perhaps support a ph3 study for PBT2 as for the otitis study of Dr. Neville. The deal needs to be made with big pharma, IMO. But this big deal is very complex. I think that all big players such as Pfizer, Novartis, TEVA, J&J, etc will get a territory or two for penicillin, ampicillin, tetracycline, etc around the world. If every company would gain something, it would be easier to find a solution but some companies producing generic drugs will lose without PBT2. Losing a vital business is not easy to accept.

But I cannot advise Uniquest. They know that without a deal there will be more dead people. They have been negotiating now for some 15 months. Results must be ready quite soon, even the deal will be complex.
