Over the weekend I did quite a bit of reading and amongst other important announcements, I came across this one from November, 2009.
In the announcement, it makes reference to many of the old copper workings that can be traced over the area and how even MIM identified extensive soil anomalies back in the '90's, including one significant intersection of 36m @ 2.71%Cu. It goes on to table our own "outstanding" drill results, in particular I noted hole number DY015R showing up to 15%Cu. (and as "low" as 4.6%!)
I ask those of you who wish to contribute to this thread, in the imortal word of Pauline Hanson (LOL) "Please explain".
Can someone (Pheonix) please explain to me why we haven't commenced mining this Cu-rich ground? In fact, if it is so good, why didn't someone like MIM keep it? They have (had) the resources to mine it - what were their reasons for not going ahead with it? I wonder.
But wow, what an area to have in our account!
