Had a read of the PR NewsWire story, and yes, early diagnosis & intervention is important and no doubt technological approach is important and helpful.... But why is everyone just focusing on creating bandaids to fix a problem rather than working out why there is such an increase in neurodevelopmental conditions. The question "WHY" raises a very contentious topic on why the increase!!! And please don't tell me its climate change !!!
Autism is an increasingly common neurodevelopmental condition that today affects one in every 54 children in the United States, a 178% increase in prevalence since 2000. While autism can be reliably diagnosed in children as early as 18 months, the average age of autism diagnosis has remained at 4 to 5 years old for decades.
Any who, my point is most likely for another forum. I will keep watching BB1 with interest.
