Chix market opens at 10am on the dot for all stocks, theres no group staging like ASX with a random time +/-15sec. Only thing i can think that happened is that the person accidentally put in a chix order when they meant an asx order and paid all the way up. Note the same thing can happen in the closing match, chix can still trade between 4pm and 410pm so if you put in any deep chix orders they can get done at whatever price you put them in at due to bots or even humans looking out for these errors.
