Their reply to a complaint included the following extract;

At present the CBA Goal saver account offers a rate of interest of 4.65% pa up to balances of $100, 000. Please note that as this is a bonus rate of interest, and an eligibility criterion applies.
Alternatively you may consider a Netbank saver that is currently offering a special bonus variable interest rate of 4.50% pa; this includes a fixed bonus margin of 1.50% pa above the netbank saver standard variable rate of currently 3.00% pa, for 3 months after account opening and balances up to $5 million.

I really wasn't expecting anything other than this ridiculous response so the obvious will occur ,no funds will be left in their system which they promoted not long ago and paid 5.50% on any balance and currently have reduced to .1%
