Your right about hindsight , however if everyone who has experienced these events, and ever finds themselves looking at a similar situation , hopefully will not stay that way long .
Thinking that we were all going to get a mint for a small investment was the problem.
If the share were to fall to single digits , it may be worth buying "some" ( not for the faint hearted) since I would assume the asset backing would be the basis of any takeover by Ansteel , so some profit may be possible.
A bit like BRIS CONNECTIONS when that bloke took all the stapled securities.(look it up ) and was paid many times their value.
