I must admit, I thought the LNP would introduce austerity measures from 2014 after the budget deficit hit ~$49bn. So any rise at all is a bit disappointing.
We just have to take the govt's word for it that we are doing ok and ignore the signals that we really aren't. That and pay down our own personal debt as quickly as possible before the fan hits the 54it.
