Proven in Australia were economic and industrial advantages from geothermal with the shallow depth Birdsville geothermal power station owned and operated by Ergon Energy drawing on a 1.28km deep free-flowing bore into the Great Artesian Basin which has existed over 75 years.
Australian geothermal activities achieved proof of concept at depth with PAX and GDY whiles we still need advance to achieve proof of production at depth.
GDY advances slowly towards proof of production and commercial viability, with progress remaining slow.
