Sometimes they get enough people to show, sometimes not.

The company behind these, IQ International Pte will throw up a dodgy website and try solicit people to come and talk etc. They aren’t an industry group or anything, it’s just a few guys who cold call, email etc. They often list big brands to try make it look legitimate, and they charge a lot for an event that is just a template thing they try to spam out.

If they get enough people, they book a room and get some stuff setup etc.

They are based in Singapore; their own website says they are at 8 Marina Bay, which is pretty ritzy if you know Singapore. Actually, if you lookup their details that’s not where they are located.





Its just a thing that happens, more than anything it just means the company wasted some money, probably not a great deal and will be wasting their time also.

Its not the end of the world, its not a great look though.
