Yes that is because MAN has proven high quality brines which produced 99% put battery grade Lithium Hydroxide, so of course they want MAN brines.
They get the best you can argue all you like you are just sour ASN brines aren't involved.
but then your ASN probably can't give their brine who knows coz they are under some kind of half and the DLE tech ASN uses needs mega loads of water that's the issue.
