If the goods are proved up a takeover would be a possibility. However I don't think it will happen with Farjoy having a blocking stake. There is little chance for CON/CNE or others now.
Maybe they are planning taking it private with others.
Along comes a private company and takes a blocking stake in a spec with potential resources. The resources get proven up over time then along comes the offer.
They build there next Santos (or whatever) and float it or keep it as a cash cow.

Sort of makes some sense to me.
