I would go a step further and say that natural graphite explorers should cheer on for the success of new entrants in the near future because the main competitor is indeed synthetic.
The best prove for the statement above is: Apple now only uses synthetic graphite in its batteries, not a single gram of the mined material goes into its computers and phones. Why? It is not a matter of mere pricing, but to avoid sourcing from potentially controversial Chinese sources - both for raw materials and spherical graphite.
