ISX had, ~ 12 months prior, ceased doing business with the customer as soon as it was announced by the corporate regulator, ASIC that the customer was defrauding people. It is worth noting that this customer was not defrauding people on the ISX system but through the telecommunications systems (Telstra, Optus etc.). It is also worthy of note that although ASIC asked ISX to remove this amount from its balance sheet, the European Union requires this information to remain on the balance sheet.

More nonsense really. ASIC did half the job. They froze the smelly oz companies' monies and told I$X/SP1 to look after it. Then did a somersault when they realised the monies were recorded in the incorrect column of the balance sheet?

I wonder why, if it is truly so, they didn't take the same course with the 4 key contract recordings? A restatement, instead of three years of wasting public monies and pissing off 10k+ shareholders.
