@TDB is pushing the Criminal proceedings element, as if that's really bad or something. And we should be concerned.

Means very little, as the fines applicable to the Grant Thornton case are small which is how an offence is weighted. Small fines = Small Impact on society from any possible breaches of a law.
Traffic offences are criminal = small fines because of the impact on society as an example.

Imo, the Grant Thornton case will be all noise created to fill an agenda. The same as the ATO DPO case against JK. It just fizzled out and JK left the country.

Just on a side note - Visa have lodged the affidavit this arvo as per court orders from the hearing the other day.
